The A/B Test
Revenue Calculator.

Most experts never test their opt-in page because a few percent sounds like nothing. Put your numbers in and see what a few percent is worth over a year.

Your funnel
%
%
$

Current annual revenue from this funnel:$180,000

4 tests / year
Annual impact per winning test
+3% lift — a modest win
+$5,400/year
The bottom end of what a well-formed test produces. Most subject-line and headline tests land here.
+5% lift — a solid win
+$9,000/year
A rewritten opt-in page or a resequenced follow-up email typically moves this much.
+10% lift — a strong win
+$18,000/year
Achievable when the thing being tested was genuinely broken, which it often is the first time.
And if you keep testing

4 winning tests a year at +5% each compound to roughly +$38,791 annually.

Compounding assumes each lift stacks on the one before it. Real funnels rarely stack that cleanly, so treat this as the ceiling.

Book A Call About These Numbers

How this is calculated

  • annual revenue = leads × booked-call rate × close rate × client value × 12
  • lift value = annual revenue × lift %. A “+5% lift” means the tested step converts 5% better relatively, not five percentage points better.
  • compounded = annual × ((1.05 ^ tests) − 1), which assumes every winning test holds and stacks on the last. That is the ceiling, not the expectation.
  • Nothing here accounts for statistical significance. A result on 40 visitors is noise however good the number looks, and small funnels usually need sequential changes rather than split tests.
Where to start

Four Tests Worth
Running First.

In that order. Each one sits earlier in the funnel than the last, so a win there multiplies through everything downstream.

The opt-in page

Headline, the promise on the button, and how much you ask for. Usually the single highest-leverage page in the whole system.

The first email

Subject line and the first two lines. If nobody opens it, nothing behind it matters, however good the sequence is.

The outreach opener

The first message in a DM sequence. Small wording changes move reply rates more than anyone expects them to.

The booking step

How many questions stand between interest and a calendar, and what the page says while someone is deciding.

Want the other side of the equation?

The ROI calculator sizes what fixing your booked-call and close rates is worth, rather than what testing a single step is worth.
